Steve Rigby

Steve is Co-Chief Executive of Rigby Group. With over 30 years’ experience contributing to the growth of the Group, today he is responsible for leading strategy, finance and investments for the family in both the private and public markets. Steve sits on the boards of SCC, Rigby Technology Investments, Regional & City Airports, Rigby Real Estate, the Group’s hotel division, Nuvias Unified Communication, CloudClevr, Infinigate and Rigby Group.

Michael Murray

Mike joined Rigby Real Estate as Commercial Real Estate Director in May 2017 to lead the future expansion of the Group’s growing national property portfolio.

With over 25 years’ commercial experience in property acquisition, development, management, and investment, most recently with a regeneration specialist FTSE 250 company, Mike has extensive experience of strategic planning and delivery of large and complex regeneration schemes.

He was responsible for leading a diverse professional team delivering one of the largest regeneration mixed use schemes in the UK at Longbridge, Birmingham. He also had a strategic involvement in several other schemes which have seen the development of over 2 million square feet of buildings and 1,000 homes. Mike has an interest in the opportunities and challenges affecting regeneration including national and local policy, strategic and political developments.

James Walters

James, Development Director, is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors with over 10 years’ experience in commercial property.

James joined Rigby Real Estate as Development Surveyor in March 2019 to assist with the future expansion of the Group’s property portfolio and support the strategic development objectives and asset management opportunities within the Group’s property holdings.

Prior to joining the Rigby Group, James worked for Avison Young in Birmingham where he was principally responsible for commercial property acquisitions and disposals, asset management strategy and development within the city centre and out of town office markets. James also spent several years working in property valuation and taxation, during which time he received national industry recognition for his achievements within the property sector.

Gemma Morris

Gemma joined the Rigby Group in May 2014 as an Executive Assistant to the groups Chief Operating Officer, Steve Rigby.

Gemma’s role has grown considerably in the past 12 months and is now Office Manager for our HQ in Stratford upon Avon as well as supporting the Chief Operating Officer and other Directors of the group.

Gemma has a wealth of Executive Assistant experience having previously worked for the CEO & HR Director at Bureau Veritas for 3 years and for the HR Director at the NHS for 3 years prior to that.

SARAH STACEY

Sarah is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales and has nearly 25 years’ experience in finance.

Sarah joined the business as part time Finance Director in August 2022, to develop financial and reporting structures, advise on how to grow the business and to bring forward new investment and development opportunities.

Sarah started her professional career at PricewaterhouseCoopers before working for 5 years, in a variety of roles, at Bunzl Plc. Sarah’s property experience was gained as Finance Director at gbpartnerships, where she worked for 10 years. During this time, she was an integral part of a successful bid team which doubled the estate portfolio managed by the company, culminating in her leading the financial management of over £800m of primary care estate across 72 companies. She also worked alongside the development team in appraising new project financial viability and liaising with funders.

Most recently she has worked as Finance Director for a start-up, Aceleron Limited, who have designed and patented a serviceable, upgradable and recyclable battery.
